Our family runs the restaurant as an extension of our kitchen table. For this reason, we view the team here as an extension of our family. We promote a safe drug-free work environment. The Goochland Restaurant

We need someone for THURSDAYS.
Hours: 6:50 AM – 3:30 PM
(Additional days possible if you survive Thursday.)

Ideal candidate:

  • Can function before sunrise (or fake it convincingly)
  • Accepts that “I’ll have the usual” is a complete sentence
  • Knows coffee refills are a right, not a privilege

You will be serving:

  • People who do not look at menus
  • People with very strong egg opinions
  • People who say “the usual” and expect mind-reading
  • People who will ask personal questions by 7:15 AM

Must be able to:

  • Pour coffee without spilling or judging
  • Smile before dawn
  • Remember faces forever
  • Refill coffee. Constantly. Seriously.
